Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin ties Gordie Howe's record in loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Capital added in second post, "Ovechkin’s 43 goals in 80 career games vs. the Penguins are the most among active players and the sixth most all-time. Twenty-six of his 43 goals (60.5%) against Pittsburgh have come on the road."

Washington's Alex Ovechkin scored his 897th NHL goal, but the visiting Capitals dropped their season finale 5-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.
