To save NVIDIA graphics settings, right-click on your desktop and choose NVIDIA Control Panel. Now, click on the 3D Settings option and then select the Manage 3D settings option.

That includes Power & Battery settings for laptops, and some display-related options to boot. Maybe by the end of the decade, the Control Panel can be extracted completely when Windows 2030 comes out.

Microsoft's seemingly never-ending quest to migrate features from the legacy Control Panel to the Settings app in Windows 11 has taken another few small steps forward with a new preview release.

Microsoft has apparently moved another Control Panel setting to the Windows 11 "Settings" app. The change is currently hidden and not enabled by default, so Insiders must activate it manually.

Close the Settings app to finish the procedure. Now, when you check Windows 11 Desktop, you will find an icon with direct access to the Control Panel app. .

Since the debut of Windows 8 in 2012, Microsoft has been eager to replace the aged Control Panel with the newer Settings app. The transition so far has been slow and gradual.
