The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a bye week for Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season. It comes at a much-needed time for the Bucs, who are 6-2 with Baker Mayfield at quarterback but are dealing with a slew of injuries.

Week 9 started with the Ravens trouncing the Dolphins 28-6 on Thursday night. Sunday's early slate was highlighted by a 31-point fourth quarter thriller between the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals, plus an upset by the Minnesota Vikings over the Detroit Lions.

Luvu is believed to be the first player suspended for hip-drop tackles since the league banned the risky practice in March 2024.
