SpaceX's Starship V3 megarocket has been completely overhauled, moving the company a step closer to a vehicle that can fly humans to the moon.

Now, billionaire Elon Musk's commercial spaceflight company is about to launch the world's largest rocket for the 12th time ever.

The third generation Starship – not just bigger, but more powerful than the previous two iterations – is also due to get off the ground from a new launch pad at SpaceX's Starbase headquarters.
