Detroit’s Tarik Skubal and Houston’s Hunter Brown were the other two AL Cy Young finalists. Nick Kurtz and Jacob Wilson, both of the Athletics, were the other finalists for AL Rookie of the Year.

Joe Ryan was named an All-Star for the first time in his career. He posted a 3.42 ERA in 171 innings and struck out 194 batters. Ryan is also controllable through the 2027 season, which makes his trade value even higher, because Boston would be able to use him for two seasons before deciding on committing to him for the future.
The Boston Red Sox will need to win the Alex Bregman sweepstakes again this winter if they want him at Fenway Park in 2026.
