Cousins originally joined the Vikings from Washington in 2019. He made three Pro Bowls with Minnesota. In six years with the Vikings, Cousins had a 50-37-1 record. He completed 67.9% of his passes in the purple and gold.

The Pro Football Focus (PFF) grades for the game largely reflect the issues Detroit had in winning at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. There were a couple of notable exceptions, but the Lions best grades were largely for the more skill-positioned players.
