By Olena Harmash KYIV, Sept 8 (Reuters) - U.S. peace negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner presented several "decent ideas" during talks on how to end the war with Russia, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday.

Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff’s trip to meet with the countries’ presidents comes at a precarious moment in the Ukraine conflict.

Kyiv and Moscow agreed to halt their strikes on each other’s capital cities for 72 hours for the U.S. diplomatic visits over the weekend.

After meeting Putin, President Trump's envoys are expected to discuss a proposal to end the war in Ukraine.
