Former Utah Congresswoman Mia Love was remembered Monday as a passionate public servant, loving family member and friend, and proud believer in the American dream.

Utahns, former colleagues and supporters from across the country paid their final respects to former Utah Congresswoman Mia Love and her family on Monday. Love served as a wife, a mother, a leader in the community and a politician who made national waves.

Utahns came together at the Utah State Capitol to pay their respects to America’s first Black Republican congresswoman, former Rep. Mia Love, on April 6.
