The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $94 million for Friday’s drawing after no one won the top prize on Tuesday night. If someone matches all six numbers, they can choose a one-time cash payment of $42.

The Powerball jackpot for Monday night's drawing was estimated at $142 million, with a cash option of $65.8 million, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot was last claimed on January 18, when a player from Oregon won a $329 million prize.

Two Mega Millions tickets sold in Delaware and Tennessee just missed the $59 million jackpot but won $2 million prizes, lottery officials said. The tickets matched five winning numbers and the Megaplier, but not the Mega Ball, in the drawing Friday, Jan. 31, the national Mega Millions site said.
