At 5 a.m. Thursday, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Tropical Storm Humberto is in the Atlantic Ocean, 480 miles east-northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands. The system, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, is moving northwest at 10 mph.
The tropics are staying active. While Hurricane Gabrielle is moving away, there are two waves with a high chance for development.
While Gabrielle has prompted a Hurricane Warning for the Azores in the North Atlantic, two more tropical threats are likely brewing closer to the U.S.
