The NFL earns its “witching hour” this weekend. Friday is Halloween, Saturday is All Saints’ Day (a toast to Deuce McAllister) and Sunday takes us home with a dozen games across three broadcast windows.
Each week, every non-primetime game (in other words, the games that aren't played on Thursday Night Football , Sunday Night Football, or Monday Night Football) is broadcast on either CBS or Fox at 1 p.m. ET or around 4 p.m. ET. This means fans everywhere will have at least two games shown on their screens every Sunday afternoon during the season.
Week 9 began with the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins. The prime-time games for Week 9 are Seahawks -Commanders Sunday night on NBC and then the Cardinals and Cowboys on Monday night on ABC and ESPN. That leaves 11 games on the schedule between the 1 p.m. ET time slot and late afternoon slot.
