The FIA have confirmed a change for the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix in a bid to prompt more exciting racing. Monaco is heralded as the jewel in F1’s crown, with its luxurious backdrop and historic legacy ensuring it's place as a staple on the sport’s calendar.

Luxury Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has made history by becoming the first title partner of the Monaco Grand Prix since the Principality joined the F1 calendar in 1950.

The Formula 1 Commission, which brings together F1 teams and management with the governing body, the FIA, met Tuesday ahead of the new season launch event in London and “agreed to increase the numbers of mandatory pit stops” in Monaco, the FIA said.
