A freight train derailed in a Chicago suburb on Thursday, briefly sparking evacuations of nearby homes and businesses. The train derailed at 217th Street and Main in Matteson, NBC Chicago reported.

It took 90 months for the China - Europe freight trains to complete their first 10,000 trips, but only six months to go from 100,000 to 110,000.
