This week a cruise was cut short after three guests died of a hantavirus and the rest of the guests are strictly confined to their rooms.
French authorities have confined more than 1,700 people aboard a British cruise ship in Bordeaux after an elderly passenger died and dozens reported stomach illness. Officials said no link had been established with the gastroenteritis episode and further tests were under way.
