Coronation Street have said farewell to another cast member as one of the show's most notorious villains has confirmed his exit from the show. Harry Lowbridge, who played evil Logan Radcliffe on the long running ITV soap opera, has confirmed his final scenes aired on Monday (February 3).

Former Coronation Street star Katy Cavanagh is reprising her role as Eileen's sister Julie Carp this year. Julie last appeared in 2015 and her return will form part of Eileen's exit storyline.

ITV soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale are to see their content cut by an hour a week between them from next year. Coronation Street currently airs for three hour-long episodes a week, while Emmerdale is four 30-minute episodes plus one hour-long instalment.

ITV has confirmed a huge schedule shake up for its soaps in 2026. Hour-long episodes of Coronation Street are currently broadcast at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Emmerdale airs daily at 7.30pm with an hour long episode broadcast on Thursdays.
