Chris Spielman, husband of the late Stefanie Spielman, who died last year after a lengthy andpublic battle with breast cancer was honored on Tuesday for continuing to fight against thedisease.

Spielman said a day or two after he and his wife had gotten the news her cancer was terminal, he contacted Hooley with whom he had hosted a radio show. “I said ‘Alright Bruce, let’s go,’ ” he said.
