The United Arab Emirates says police have arrested three Uzbek nationals for the killing of an Israeli-Moldovan rabbi.

Authorities in the UAE have apprehended three people in connection with the death of Israeli Rabbi Zvi Kogan, who was reportedly killed in what Israel describes as an 'antisemitic act of terror.

The killing of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, an Israeli-Moldovan resident of Abu Dhabi, has left the UAE’s Jewish community on edge.

Mossad and authorities in the Gulf country had opened an investigation into Kogan's disappearance believing it may be related to “a terrorist incident.”

Three people have been arrested in the United Arab Emirates in connection with the alleged murder of an Israeli citizen, the Emirati interior ministry said on Sunday.The ministry statement did not give details on the suspects or say if they had been charged,

"The intelligence and security authorities in the United Arab Emirates have located the body of Zvi Kogan, who had been missing since Thursday, November 21," the Israeli prime minister's office (PMO) and the foreign ministry said in a joint statement.
