Will the New Orleans Saints end up giving Tyler Shough a chance at real time in 2025? Well, it seems like that will end up being the case after the bombshell news that dropped on Saturday that Derek Carr is retiring.

Derek Carr’s retirement leaves the Saints with three quarterbacks, who have a combined record of 0-7 as NFL starters, on their roster.

Shough was rated as the No. 113 overall player and the No. 7 quarterback in the draft class by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department. The Saints were much higher on Shough as they made him the third quarterback off the board at No. 40 overall.
