Turkey firefighters are battling raging wildfires in the western Izmir and Manisa provinces and southern Hatay province. Nearly 200 homes have been damaged nationwide as of Monday.

Wildfires continue to blaze in the western region of Izmir in Turkey which has resulted in more than 50,000 people being evacuated. A heatwave across Europe has seen temperatures soar and the heat, combined with strong winds, has seen fires spread out near Izmir, a city on the Aegean coast of Anatolia and a popular holiday destination.
