The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security and the Tennessee Highway Patrol are warning residents of recent text messages saying they could lose their driving privileges if they don't pay. Some of the messages include a link to a fake website that looks similar to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security.

By Mark Zdechlik The Minnesota Department of Public Safety said people are receiving scam text messages that threaten penalties if they do not pay up. Department officials are asking people to delete and disregard the messages.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is warning people of a driver's license scam. Text messages have been going out to people telling them to pay a fine or their license will be revoked &/or their vehicle repossessed.
