The Transportation Department found a "significant void" under Route 80 east in Wharton, weeks after a second sinkhole closed the highway.

A "void" has been discovered on I-80 in Wharton, N.J., near two sinkholes that were found earlier this month and in December.

NJ DOT has "identified 90 locations to be assessed and mitigate potential instability or possible voids" under Route 80 following sinkholes.
