The four-deck yacht Sea Story sank near the coastal town of Marsa Alam in Egypt on 25 November, leaving four people dead and seven still unaccounted for.

The family of a British woman still missing after the Red Sea yacht disaster have complained about the lack of help from the Foreign Office.

The governor of the Red Sea region, Amr Hanafy, said rescuers saved 28 people from the vessel south of the coastal town of Marsa Alam, and some were airlifted to receive medical treatment.

The family of a British couple who remain missing after a tourist yacht sank in the Red Sea off Egypt have said they are “desperate” for news.

Diver Tim Postin said Colin Sharratt, 65, and Sally Jones, 58, were among the 33 people who have so far been rescued following the sinking of the Sea Story vessel, while the employer of another Briton, Tarig Sinada, said he was one of seven people still missing.
