A rapidly growing wildfire near Port Alberni has cut off the main road access to Bamfield and prompted three states of local emergency and a series of evacuation orders and alerts.

The City of Port Alberni, the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District and the Tseshaht First Nation have all issued local states of emergency due to the growing blaze.
