Tony Finau has pulled out of the Hero World Challenge. Finau was removed from Tiger Woods’ exhibition event in the Bahamas on Sunday night. As of Monday morning no reason was given from Finau or the PGA Tour for his withdrawal.

Finau was originally listed in the 20-man field for this week’s tournament at Albany in the Bahamas, but an updated field list posted by the PGA Tour on Monday morning did not include Finau and instead listed Sepp Straka as one of three sponsor exemptions.

Tony Finau, No. 26 in the Official World Golf Ranking, won’t tee it up this week at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas for Tiger Woods’ silly-season event. Finau hasn’t played since the Presidents Cup, where he went 2-2-0 in Team USA’s win.
