A member of Penn State’s vaunted 2022 recruiting class is hitting the portal once again. Michigan State sophomore defensive end Ken Talley announced on social media Tuesday that he intends to enter the transfer portal, which officially opens next Monday.

Penn State Nittany Lions tight end Jerry Cross plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal this month, according to On3.

Defensive end Ken Talley announced via social media on Tuesday he is entering the transfer portal and looking for a third school. He had 11 tackles, including three for a loss, and 1.5 sacks in 15 games over two seasons for the Spartans and has two years of eligibility remaining.

A Penn State tight end and former highly-touted recruit is entering the transfer portal. Jerry Cross, a third-year tight end with the Nittany Lions, plans on entering the transfer portal, according to a report from on3. The winter transfer portal window opens next Monday, Dec. 9, and closes on Dec. 28.

A player may enter his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal database to allow them to have any contact with any other college football program looking to recruit him. A player may withdraw his name from the NCAA database at any time, but the current school is not required to protect any scholarship once that player enters the database.
