COLUMBUS, OH -- Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. has resigned as president of Ohio State University just two years after taking the job. Carter submitted his resignation to the university’s Board of Trustees, which was accepted, according to a statement released Monday by OSU.
It's unclear whether the leader would be the 18th president or an interim president while the board finds a permanent replacement for Carter.

A lizard caused a power outage at Oklahoma State University on Tuesday. The university sent out an email saying that a lizard in the power distribution switch at Animal Science caused the outage. It started around 2:30 p.m., and OSU said “it could be at least a few hours before power is back on to the affected areas on campus.”
