Newsweek’s latest tracking poll shows Mamdani widening his advantage in the New York mayoral race, securing 45 percent support.

Steinmetz joins a growing chorus of NYC rabbis who have outright called for community members to vote for Cuomo over Mamdani. In a sermon last Saturday, Park Avenue Synagogue Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove warned congregants that Mamdani was "a danger to the Jewish body politic of New York City.”
