San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is about to become a very rich man. According to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jonathan Jones, Purdy and the Niners have agreed to terms on a five-year, $265 million contract extension.

If the 49ers can stay healthy, Purdy will be looking to lead the team to the top of the NFC West, which is where they were in 2022 and 2023. It will be an adjustment without a star like Samuel, but if anyone can get it done, it's Purdy.

After the San Francisco 49ers drafted Brock Purdy with the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, the quarterback signed a four-year contract worth $3.74 million, with a $77,012 signing bonus. His second contract has a much bigger number on it.
