NEW LENOX, Ill. - One person was killed in a shooting on Interstate 80 Monday night near New Lenox. Illinois State Police responded around 5:30 p.m. to the westbound exit ramp to Interstate 355 and found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead.

A deadly shooting on I-80 in New Lenox was caused by road rage, Illinois State Police said. Ryan Kobayashi, who flew to Los Angeles looking for his daughter, Hannah, after she was reported missing, 'tragically took his own life,' according to his family.
