The San Francisco Chronicle, citing a source familiar with the operation, reported Wednesday that more than 100 CBP and other federal agents were expected to arrive this week. Both Lurie and California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Democrats, condemned the move, calling it a political stunt meant to provoke unrest.
