Tyler Conklin, considered one of the better tight ends available in free agency, agrees to a one-year deal with the Chargers.

The Los Angeles Chargers have signed veteran tight end Tyler Conklin to a one-year deal. He's one of four players at his position with over 50 catches and 400 receiving yards in each of his last four seasons.

The 29-year old tight end has had 50 receptions or more in each of the past four seasons, including 51 last season with the New York Jets
