Pounding snow and bitter cold continued their assault on parts of the U.S. Copenhagen, N.Y., 80 miles north of Syracuse, reported 58.8 inches of snow.

On Sunday at 5:58 p.m. EST an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Monday 7 a.m. EST until Tuesday 7 a.m. EST for Mason, Oceana and Muskegon counties.
