Kerala is forecast to experience light to moderate rain across most regions on Monday, with isolated areas likely to receive very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

Kerala is expected to experience significant rainfall due to cyclone Fengal, with red alerts issued for five northern districts. The weather system, currently a strong low-pressure area, is likely to intensify.

The weather department has also issued an orange alert for Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, and Thrissur districts.
