Kenny Omega defeated Konosuke Takeshita Sunday night at AEW Revolution to capture the International Championship. His victory marked the culmination of his comeback from a battle with diverticulitis that was more than a year in the making.

Last night saw Omega defeat Konosuke Takeshita in an excellent back-and-forth bout to dethrone Takeshita as the AEW International Champion. In a match full of big moves and finishers, it was a cruxific pin that did the job for Kenny, bringing an end to Takeshita's International Title reign at 148 days.

Kenny Omega will speak on the March 12th episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW announced the segment on social media. Omega won the AEW International Championship from Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution.

Kenny Omega made his return to AEW at Worlds End last year. Omega would capture the AEW International Championship at AEW Revolution 2025. Omega has now held every possible title in AEW, besides the TNT title.
