Joshua Kimmich could be set to leave Bayern Munich this summer after the German giants withdrew their offer of a contract extension, according to reports in Germany. Kimmich is out of contract in the summer but has long been in negotiations with Bayern about extending his stay in Bavaria.

According to Bild, Bayern Munich have withdrawn their contract offer for Joshua Kimmich. It is understood that the 30-year-old’s deal at the Allianz Arena is set to expire this summer, and both parties have been in talks regarding an extended stay at the club.

However, the noises out of the club and in the media recently pointed to Kimmich staying in Munich. The rumored wages attached to the new deal were still rather a mystery.
