Joel Quenneville returned to hockey Thursday with contrition. He acknowledged mistakes and said he accepted full responsibility for his role in the Chicago Blackhawks sexual assault scandal as he became the new coach of the Ducks.

Joel Quenneville is returning to the NHL as the 12th coach of the Anaheim Ducks. Quenneville is an NHL coach for the first time in more than three years as he replaces Greg Cronin, who was fired by the Ducks on April 19.
