After taking the weekend off, F1 returns with its third race of the 2025 season, the Japanese Grand Prix, this Sunday. McLaren's Oscar Piastri took home first place at the Chinese Grand Prix, but his teamate Lando Norris continues to lead in the world championship — yes, even over Max Verstappen.

Formula 1 is heading to the iconic Suzuka circuit for round three of the 2025 season and it’s predicted to be a Japanese Grand Prix to enjoy for the imperious McLaren team. Oscar Piastri’s win in China last time out suggests that the championship battle could be slightly different from the one many had envisaged before the season began and the Aussie driver has been trimmed to 9/4 to win the world championship.

What makes it special: The only figure-eight layout in F1, with legendary corners such as the Esses, 130R and the Degners. The Japanese fans are also unlike any others in F1, dressing in homemade costumes and staying late into the night just to watch activity in the garages.
