President Trump has granted pardons to five former NFL players, including Jamal Lewis, Joe Klecko, Nate Newton, Billy Cannon, and Travis Henry.

Former Dallas Cowboys star Nate Newton has publicly responded after receiving a presidential pardon from Donald Trump, closing a chapter that has followed him for more than two decades.

Klecko, 72, played most of his career with the New York Jets, who retired his No. 73 in 2004.
