Saharan dust arrives Friday in Houston and may set the scene for a dazzling, Instagram-worthy sunset after a seasonably warm afternoon. Hazy skies linger through at least the first half of the weekend as Mother Nature turns up her thermostat.

The sky will likely appear hazy by sunset today, and we could get interesting-looking sunrises and sunsets this weekend.

Beginning Friday and extending through Sunday or possibly Monday, expect a mixture of hazy skies and very warm afternoons as temps rise into the mid and possibly upper 90s.
