The body of a woman who was missing in the devastating July 4 floods has been found, according to Gov. Greg Abbott. Abbott said Task Force 1 — one of the search teams deployed in response — recovered the body in the Kerrville area. He announced the discovery in a post on X at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Nim Kidd, chief of the Texas Division of Emergency Management and representatives from the Upper Guadalupe River Authority are expected to testify.
