The number of Pro Football Hall of Fame members who played at Alabama high schools and colleges will remain at 16 as cornerback Eric Allen, defensive end Jared Allen, tight end Antonio Gates and wide receiver Sterling Sharpe enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Defensive end Jared Allen, wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, cornerback Eric Allen, and tight end Antonio Gates will be enshrined to the Pro Football Hall of Fame this week. The Hall of Fame honors were a long time coming for both Sharpe and Eric Allen, while Gates and Jared Allen didn't have to wait as long.

On August 2 in Canton, Ohio, the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrines four new members, placing them among the ranks of the greatest to ever play in the National Football League: Eric Allen, Jared Allen,
