Frederick Gaudreau was traded to the Seattle Kraken by the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Minnesota received a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft for the 32-year-old forward.

Minnesota Wild center Freddy Gaudreau has been traded to the Seattle Kraken for draft compensation, the Wild confirmed Thursday. Gaudreau tallied 37 points (18 goals and 19 assists) for Minnesota this past season. Originally signing with the Wild as a free agent in 2021, Gaudreau totaled 56 goals and 78 assists in four seasons with Minnesota.
