Investigators say the shooting happened while vehicles were driving through the park, though the exact circumstances and how many people were involved are unknown.

Minneapolis police are still looking for a suspect in the deadly shooting of an 11-year-old boy at a park in north Minneapolis. MPD says the shooting happened at Folwell Park Monday afternoon. First responders tried to save his life, but the boy died from his injuries.

In an interview on Wednesday, Chief Ohotto said officers patrol all of the city's 185 parks from 7 a.m. until 1 a.m. the following morning every day.
