The Charger Daytona EV proves thoroughbred American muscle cars can still exist for the 21st century, no matter where the power comes from.

Dodge, a muscle car company that built much of its modern reputation on putting V8 engines in everything in its lineup, is launching a new all-electric sports car, the two- or four-door Charger Daytona.

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona debuts in R/T and Scat Pack trims, both with dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrains, a 100.5-kwh (93.9-kwh usable) battery, and power that exceeds their gas-motivated Charger and Challenger predecessors.
