Novak Djokovic is safely through to the third round of the Miami Open after a straight-set victory over Australia's Rinky Hijikata.

Novak Djokovic has said that he agrees and disagrees with parts of the legal action taken by the Professional Tennis Players’ Association (PTPA), the players’ union he co-founded.

The rival player union co-founded by Novak Djokovic has followed up Tuesday’s bombshell legal action against the tennis establishment with a second lawsuit claiming that the ATP Tour is coercing players not to support its case.

Novak Djokovic doesn’t want the antitrust lawsuit filed by the players’ association he co-founded to create a rift in tennis, but he also said Thursday that the athletes’ share of revenues and their influence both need to increase.
