The 57-year-old Russian woman who stowed away on a flight from New York to Paris last week is set to return to the United States on Tuesday, a French airport official confirmed to CNN.

French officials tell ABC News that the woman who allegedly snuck onto a Delta Airlines international flight is a Russian national who did not have valid travel documents to enter the country.

A woman was taken into custody after the stowaway flew aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from New York's JFK International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, the airline said.
