DC Studios has found the actor to help mold its Clayface movie. Tom Rhys Harries, a Welsh actor who is relatively unknown Stateside, will star as the Batman villain known for his ability to shape-shift.

The character Clayface has technically already shown up in the DCU, specifically in a number of episodes of the animated series "Creature Commandos". He's voiced by Alan Tudyk in the series, who also voices a much more comical version of the character in "Harley Quinn".
James Gunn, the head honcho at DC, delivered the news on social media, tweeting, “After a long and incredibly exhaustive search, we finally have our DCU Clayface in Tom Rhys Harries. Both [‘The Batman’ director] Matt Reeves and I were just blown away by this guy, and can’t wait for you to see this film.”
For some fans, the most memorable version of Clayface may be his appearance in the Batman: The Animated Series episodes, “Feat of Clay Part 1” and “Feat of Clay Part 2.” This version of Clayface is a man named Matt Hagen and has a more tragic backstory to boot, becoming the terrifying, shape-shifting villain that antagonizes Batman and Gotham City.
