CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Flacco played every snap during Cincinnati's Week 8 loss to the New York Jets, but went back to the locker room in the fourth quarter due to the injury.
The Bengals acquired Flacco from the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 7 because Jake Browning was struggling to replace injured starter Joe Burrow. Flacco was an immediate upgrade over Browning and has already thrown for 784 yards, seven touchdowns and zero interceptions. He helped the Bengals beat the Steelers on "Thursday Night Football" on Oct. 16.
