Police have captured Lenton Vanburen Jr., Leo Tate Sr., Jermaine Donald, Corey Boyd, Kendell Myles, Robert Moody, Dkenan Dennis and Gary Price. Massey, 32, may have recognizable face tattoos of chess pieces, but he remains on the run and has evaded authorities thus far.

Sterling Williams, a jail maintenance worker accused of helping the inmates escape, is being held on a 1.1 million bond. An amount that his lawyer criticized. His lawyer, Michael Kennedy, said last week, "They are way out of bounds. That is completely ridiculous.”

As the fugitive search enters a second week, fears are increasingly giving way to frustration, anger and a desire for accountability.

The audacious feat, one of the biggest jailbreaks in Louisiana history, exploited safety issues in the jail that had previously been cited by federal authorities.

More than a week later, the manhunt continues. Officials say the search is far from over, with more people now accused of aiding the escape.

The manhunt for six men, including some accused of violent crimes, has alarmed the city and brought new attention to New Orleans’s troubled jail.

Two of the 10 inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail last week were caught on facial-recognition cameras walking through the French Quarter New Orleans Police confirmed to ABC News.
