The port itself is accessible, tours are run by companies providing transportation. Foot traffic outside the gates of the port are rather unsettling. From the moment of crossing the street we were met with demands for money to ensure we would not be bothered. The portion of the city we saw was dirty, unkept, rampant drug use evidence. Hi, it's about a 15 minute walk from the cruise terminal. As you come out the cruise terminal turn right and follow the road past the main town hall/court house and the school is on the right. You can hire a guide outside the port who will give you a walking tour of Falmouth taking in the historical sites and the school.
